Fri Mar 30, 2012 Description
This was the most challenging of them all. There were so many things to incorporate. Here is how I did: 1. Use 15 different kits Oh So Happy, Jeepers, Pumpkin Spice by Digital Design Essentials Direction Elements, Krafty Party Elements, Let's Go Mini by Robyn Meierotto Scrap It, A Touch of Fall, May Flowers by Lindsay Jane Serene by Just Jaimee Be You Elements, Remarkable Brushes, DigiEssentials 9, Beachy Acrylic Words by Karla Dudley Artistic PhotoMasks One by Tiffany Tillman 2. Use 6 different designers Digital Design Essentials (Gina Cabrera# Robyn Meierotto Lindsay Jane Just Jaimee Karla Dudley Tiffany Tillman 3 Use a blending mode: On "Little Longboarder Champ" element Used Darken blend mode and blended into the background. 4. Use an ad - [ link ] 5. Book Title - Life's a Beach by Claire Cook. 6. Use orange as accent color - done. 7. Duplicate a photo using different crops - done. 8. Alter an element - Recolored the word blocks on the stamps along top. 9. Do an extraction - The" Little Longboarder Champ" element was extracted from the logo on my sons shirt #used another shot from the same day#. 10. Use the words Mad, March and Memories - used in separate journalling - text for these words is orange while the rest of the journalling is blue. 11. Two-page layout - done. 12. One page's background is a photo - done. 13. Weave an element - green string woven in stamps on the bottom of the 2nd page. 14. Create custom shape & use it 3 ways - Created the stamp shape. Used it as the stamps along the top of the page, used the stroke of the stamp for the frames under the photos, and used it as a stencil for misting. 15. Incorporate a strong diagonal line - banner across the 2nd page. Fonts: Pea Pumpkin Peters, Pass The Chex, Pea Picky Panda Additional Category: Member Gallery Actions |

Sat Mar 31, 2012 7:29am Those stamps are amazing. I love them. I am going to have to figure out how to do that since I am planning a travel party for my MIL. You did a great job blending them all around. |

Sun Apr 1, 2012 12:19pm Gorgeous. The stamp shape you made IS perfect, love the way you used it (Misting? Be still my heart!) and the whole layout is lovely and serene. Looks like it could be an ad, itself! |
