A Walk to Remember

Goodness. My girl is growing up...we've been working on her crossing the street for several months, and last week I had her walk ahead of me several feet so I could shadow her and see how if she is truly ready. It appears that she can now walk to school safely without me...I feel proud, ready, excited for her, and a little sad all at the same time. I just needed to do a page about the last time she probably needed me to accompany her. It was a bittersweet moment for sure. Supplies: Patterned and solid papers, small pink hearts, and word phrases by Janet Carr (Little Feet Designs)at For the Luv of Art; lacy border by Krystle Hartley (Sweet Shoppe Designs); bracket shape (that I used as a mask) and wings brush by Katie Pertiet (Designer Digitals); fonts: Floral and VT Portable Remington.
