Description

Another hummingbird photo.
Nikon D3000 w/ 55-200mm lens at 120mm focal length.
f/4.8 (max opening at 120 mm). 1/200 sec. shutter, ISO 800.
I would have liked a faster shutter and less grain (lower ISO) but it was so dark, it wasn't to be. I don't like to use the flash, I think it might hurt their little eyeballs.
Edited in PSE7 and camera raw.
Shooting in Manual and not even thinking about it!
By resizing to 100 ppi instead of 72 ppi and reducing the size of the photo a wee bit to get the total size down, the colours are staying truer than they are at 72 ppi (both ways at Bicubic sharper and Save for Web)
I have no idea what that means, but the picture looks nicer to me.
