GIBRAN'S PINWHEEL / ahg_052512_2

Here's another digital hybrid card for today! The image is A Day For Daisies, called Orange Pinwheel. I used digital paper piecing [ link ] for this card, with Celeste Knight's new paper, Summer Sorbet.


Like my previous card, I set this all up on one page for printing. Using a light grey box to show my trim-line, I set up the image and the sentiment (which is a *freebie* on my blog [ link ] for the card front. I then digitally paper pieced the pinwheel & placed it on my page again, so that I could cut it out and pop it up on the base. After trimming the card front, I placed it in an embossing folder right up to the line of the pinwheel's stick, with the un-embossed half sticking out the side & ran it through my Big Shot. Easy peas~y!
