One of the things we did during our holiday in France is visit the medieval town of Bourges, once the capital of France. There is a magnificent cathedral, the Cathédrale Saint-Etienne, that we went to see. Very impressive, aging from the 13th century, with gorgeous stained glass windows. We ended our visit to Bourges in the Jardins de l'Archevêché (the arch bishop's gardens), dating from the 17th century. The gardens give a remarkable view of the cathedral and its immense nave and chevet. I used Jen Reeds Golden Vanity Collection, a map from the town of Bourges that I had myself and that I gave an aged look, and an element from Brandy Murry's Kingdom collection. The frames are from Cottage Arts. Additional Category: Member Gallery Actions |
