Solitary

I have loved this photo forever and when I was getting my head together for the Speed Scrap, I knew I wanted to use it. Kat played right into my hands!!


It was taken at a park on a warm autumn day not long after Adam finished up his first round of radiation treatments. His hair was pretty much gone and he had to wear the helmet to protect his brain where the bone was gone. He spent a lot of time alone, or with me then. But he usually didn't look sad like he does in this photo.
