Description: I used the Color Burn blending mode on the plaid paper over one of the blues to add some discrete visual texture...I cut the arrows out of the word art and applied a gradient, I added a metallic style to teh paper clip to make it more realistic looking and erased part of it... gradients are applied to some of the words also and I drew the arrow by hand to direct the eye throughout the project.... the colors were chosen to co ordinate with teh Yellow Daisies page done a couple of weeks ago...I also filled one of the labels with color so I could add my own words...

Description: I'm usually not much of a picture taker. I know...makes no sense at all, right? It's actually my husband who is the photog in the family. However, this day at the train depot my kids, especially my youngest, were so excited to see and climb on all of those trains up close and in person, that I just had to get a few shots. Then a few more, and in the end I had so many to choose from that I really just needed a way to get them all on the page. I loved using "Everday Stories" from Sarah Sullivan. The setup allowed me to easily add my photos and tell the story of the day in visual format. This is page two of the layout.

Description: Fab New Release from Angie Hinksman today - Virtual Bunny - love this kit! Brilliant new templates from Sarah Sullivan - these are so easy and quick to use and look great. The bunny reminded me of the action shots of my kids hopping around the beach - and with the template I was able to get different things that I wanted from the same day with diff journaling and also my title. Watch out for my video tutorial on the shadowing effect on the title coming up on the blog this week :)
