Thanks Mary for pointing us to the journaling challenge. I didn't have a chance to read it before this. I will have to do something for sure.

on a side note my daughter was born on 10-9-08. We thought that was pretty cool.

This post really confused me. Then I realised why... here in the UK we write the date with the day first so for me today is 11/10/12. But I like this idea so I'll save it for November!!

Started taking pictures this morning - my breakfast Will be an interesting day - DS goes to the dentist this afternoon for fillings and I told him I was going to take pictures of that. Um, yeah, you can probably guess what his response was. LOL

Sarah, we write things the same way in Australia, which gets really confusing when I visit my Mum and have to write a date on anything - I really have to think about it, or write the month out in full / alpha instead of numbers.

My DH is from the US, so you'd think I'd be used to translating by now! We usually write dates out in full just in case
{By the way, I love that you said 'Mum' and not 'Mom'!!}

LOL - my son gets a kick out of my accent each time I call her - it's like I flip a switch ... the accent, the slang/jargon ... all still there.
