I can't figure out how to use them- I have PSE 10. I know how to use brushes (well maybe not :D )but how do you tear the tape via the brush?
TIA!

Bea, I almost posted this identical post. But then I went digging inside the unzipped folder and discovered a whole folder of .abr files that are the brushes. I couldn't see them in my Picasa because it doesn't see .abr. I actually went the first School of Design blog post on brushes and that reminded me how to load .abr files. I'm not on my computer with PSE or I could walk you through how I loaded them. It wasn't hard. just remember to put each tear on its it's own layer.

Load the brushes, and then click on the eraser tool. You can specify brush, and which one, and then use that to erase the part of the tape you don't want. :)

  That's much easier than what I did.

thanks Gen-I loaded the brushes but I couldn't figure out where to go from there. LOL I was stamping on a new layer and trying to do some kind of clipping mask thing.
Wendy- kudos to you if you figured out a work-around.

Um...I created a new layer, painted the tape on with the brush, and clipped to the brush. Using the brush to erase...much easier.

I may be a bit biased but I love this kit! I love that Gen included long bits of tape. Most other kits that have washi tape in them are usually shorter in length, mostly used to tack down papers, etc. With longer pieces of tape, I can use them to create a background, frame, etc. I also love the tear brushes (used as eraser) to cut down the tape to the perfect size. I love that especially on the alphabet line and the months. Totally love how easy it is to customize.

Kym, you're a celebrity - did you see #2 in Gen's washi series?

Yes Kat, I did see those. How could I miss them when Gen tagged me in them all over Facebook? I think with each new vol, she name them after others, ie Kat's washi.
