May Journaling Challenge with Theresa Marie

Hello everyone and welcome to the journaling challenge for the month of May! This month I have the opportunity to challenge you in your journaling. This topic is so dear to my heart because I LOVE journaling and many many times I have a hard time fitting all my journaling on my page, or end up having to cut it down. I'm a very detailed journaler So I started thinking about what would be a challenge for me when it comes to journaling and put it with a technic that I adore seeing on other's pages, but never do myself. Journaling on a photo!

SO, my challenge to you this month is to create a page, add a photo(s), and journal ONLY on photo(s). no journaling anywhere except a photo(s)!

At the end of the month I'll be picking one lucky winner to get a $5 gift certificate, but you must post your LO in the May Journaling Challenge Gallery & link us up in this thread!

Oooo, great challenge! Tricky but I also adore the look those pages get.

Ooo, that's a tough one. I normally don't like to put anything over my photos at all. This sounds like it will help me stretch a little.

Sounds awesome. I can't wait to see how everyone does it. I see this technique a lot on postcards, wedding announcements, and other mail-format types of layouts.

When I journal on photos, which isn't very often, I usually don't write much - like this time I'll have to look through my photos and see if there's one I have that might lend itself to a whole paragraph or two. Hhhmmmm ...

This was VERY tricky to do. I had to search through my photo library trying to find a photo that didn't have a busy background so I could write on it. http://www.designhousedigital.com/galle ... usity.html

Loved this challenge. I've never done a page with text strictly on my photo before -- but I really love the impact it has on the page -- seems like it fits well with a compelling photo and journaling. Thank you for the inspiration!

I found this challenge, well challenging. I am not used to putting journaling strictly on the photo. It was nice to step out of the comfort zone and try something new. Thanks.
