As we head into the Fall season in the US, the colors are changing, the temperatures are dropping, and there are thoughts of Halloween and possibly even some early planning for Thanksgiving.

Hi everyone! It's Kat - and I'm here to host this month's Scraplift Challenge. There were so many layouts in the gallery to choose from, but this one from Terry really caught my eye - not sure if it was the bright colors, the adorable subject in the photo ... but I lifted all the layering (a favorite thing of mine to do).

Here's Terry's layout:

... and here's my scraplifted version:

I hope you'll play along this month - and remember, if you do, you'll have the chance to win a $5 gift certificate to the DHD store.

Ok I used masks to layer, but kept with the single photo.

Love the use of the masks, Deb. Looks like ... a state forest, maybe, where you had the picnic?

Love layering!! I went with the circles from the original as well as multiple layers of paper. Similar theme too...

Here's mine! I lifted the stacks of paper - I tried for the same shape in composition, just smaller. I also loved the halloween theme and the splatters.

Great pages, ladies! Jan, each time I look at your layout, I keep thinking the photo corners are bats ... I know, I know, they don't LOOK like bats, but I just think ...

And Kate. Awwwwww. Love the choice of the white background - the paint splatters look really good on there.

A fun challenge! Please don't judge me by the title of my layout, I am not completely insane, :).

just realized that there are about a million layers to this page I just posted in the main gallery, so it goes here also...the blue torn paper consists fo 4 layers all by itself, and there are several of Anna's Kardz with balloons on them and a few foto glows, and that is not including all the layers in the original template!!! Whew!!! glad that is over!!!! Just counted...over 30 layers total...I knew I worked too long on this one!!!!

Liz, maybe we should have a little competition to see who can produce a page with the most layers?! LOL Great page - and a love the unexpected striped paper you put in there.
