I'd said I'd never....but

Last year I sewed what felt like a million sequins on my daughter's homemade Halloween costume. Last year I said I would never do that again....so what am I doing this year? Sewing 24 feet of sequins on her costume.

So my question for you is what is something you said you never do or never do again and you have.

Laundry.
Cleaning the house.

Bwwwaaahaaa haaa!! Oh, come on, you knew somebody was going to say those things, right?! What costume is Maya getting this year?

Maya is going to be a bumble bee princess I guess that's what you'd call it.

I can't believe there's no one to respond to the I'd never. I have a boat load of them. Tons I said before I had children. Like.....I'd never buy video games or I'd never give my children candy to be quiet, or I'd never let me boys play soccer and football during the same season.

Am I alone? Really?

I'd never....let her watch as much TV as she wants.
I'd never...let her eat candy before dinner.
I'd never....let popcorn BE dinner.
I'd never...let the laundry sit in the washer so long that I have to wash it again because it's all nasty and musty, and then I let it sit AGAIN and I have to wash it AGAIN (the same load!), and then it happens one more time and I can't believe the clothes haven't totally rotted and disintegrated by now.
I'd never...drive when the car is so low on gas that I keep thinking, "Damn light, change, change, I have to get to the gas station, I'm wasting important fumes here!"
I'd never...pick my nose at the stoplight and not care who is watching
I'd never...see a spider walking around the house and think, "huh," and then just walk away, letting it do what it wants

Say the things my mother said to me, then when watching my niece and after about the 25th question that started with why? "Because I said so!"

Maggie and Jennifer those made me chuckle! I'm so glad to know I am not alone...ha!

My dd had her 15th birthday last night and I ate a piece of her cake, of course. It was so sweet and not that good (from Sams Club). So I said to myself, "Ugh, I'm not eating another piece of that cake!"

Cake is so evil sometimes isn't it Jennifer. It gets the best of us I tell ya!

I'd never let my kids play hookie from school (my mom would try to take me out of school, and I would complain. "but, Mom, I have a test".

We are going to Disneyland on Friday and not coming back until Tuesday night. They will be calling in "sick" for Monday and Tuesday.
