What is everyone up to this weekend?

I should do some scrapping but I have a bunch of energy and think I'm going to tackle painting/putting up shelves in our laundry room! I have some sewing projects to work on too so I hope the energy holds out for a while this morning

let's see! Spanish class for dd, playdate with a friend, maybe a visit to a local botanical garden or the zoo....

I hope to work on a few layouts, too.

Doing some scrapping and putting together a presentations for the cousins for next weekend. We are having a cousins weekend and the presentation is going to be about family reunion next year. My sister are in charge next year - we rotate through the family based on my mom's generation. They are considered the first generation.

Okay, here is a pic of my laundry room right now...

So far today, I've screwed up the braces for the shelves on the right side of the cabinets. I need to take down the shelves on the left and put up new braces because I don't like the L-brackets. But, I struggled so much with the right ones that I'm taking a break and will maybe finish it tomorrow. Also need to buy boards for the actual shelves on the right and then do touch up paint over the screws.

Then I want to do shelves like this with a skirt like this...

Girl's night out for me - birthday celebrations at a local Mexican restaurant.

We're going to a charity hockey game tomorrow. It's called The Battle of the Badges; teams from local law enforcement and fire fighters are playing to raise money for the Special Olympics Alberta. They're being joined by the Hanson Brothers from 1977's cult classic Slap Shot and retired NHL referee Kerry Fraser. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm taking my camera...

We caught up with a friend visiting from out of town, short visit to the zoo, then a volleyball game.

As for today, going to a local craft store to buy me more washi tape then off to a 1st birthday party.
