Speaking of the SUPER bowl

So it's in my backyard this year. They have all these cool things happening this week and last week. They even have a theme park called the NFL Experience set up inside the convention center downtown Indianapolis. We had all hoped the Colts would be playing this year, but we'll have to cheer on a different Manning!

It's fun having it it here, but I can't say I am too excited about the actual game...I'm all about the partying beforehand.

It was sorta in my backyard last year (I'm about 35 miles from where it was), and frankly, by the time of the game, I was sick of hearing about it. EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE was about the Super Bowl. I guess they needed all that stuff to greet the guests. I must admit, though, that it was cool in the beginning.

I think they had the NFL Experience here, too - that name sounds familiar. A friend of my son's went there with his family, and his parents told us it was so packed and pricey, but they had a good time.
