As I was perusing the galleries this morning, this layout by Jan jumped right out at me: Here are some of the things that I found interesting: * It's strong vertical line right down the center * The circles and scalloped edges * An interesting photo (something old and abandoned) * The worn edges of the background paper * The mostly monochromatic color scheme I think it provides a great starting point for our next Scraplift challenge... and can't wait to see how you guys make it your own! Don't forget to post your finished layout in the Scraplift gallery, and you could win a $5 gift certificate to DHD!

Wow! Thanks Gen... What a lovely surprise to be chosen for this challenge. Thank you so much. Now I'm anxious to see what everybody does with it.

Oh, I've been in a circular mode recently - this is right up my alley! Thanks Gen (and Jan)!

Well, after all that, I didn't use any circles! Here's my page (doubles for Carey's journaling challenge - to write a letter to Mom): Mum I ended up scraplifting the vertical line down the middle, stuck to a one-word title (of sorts), and also found a paper with inked edges. LOL - and I just realized my background color is almost identical to Jan's.

I couldn't resist... I lifted myself, with a few minor adjustments.

What a fun page to lift! I kept a few bits (the vertical paper line, square framed photo, title placement & stitched border). Here's my take: my niece playing with her piggies

Here's my take on it. It's doubling for the Technique Challenge. Halloween 2010
