Hi everyone! I'm filling in for Gen this month with our scraplift challenge. There was so much to choose from in the gallery! I ended up selecting Renee's
Halloween 2002 layout for us all to play with this month.
There's a lot to scraplift here - what will inspire you? The color combination, the multi-photo layout, the alphabet tags? Maybe you're clambering for a 8.5 x 11 page?
I took Renee's page, rotated it 90 degrees, and then focused on the larger photo cluster, keeping the same photo frames, a smaller "photo" (my title), and even an element to replace the Halloween tag - my string of hearts. I also really love how Renee layered the background papers, off-setting them just a little so the orange peeps through. I achieved a similar look on my page by rotating the pages slightly.

There were so many neat things in this layout that I wanted to replicate, especially the dotted date cutout! Also loved the split background and the tucked tag.
