March 2010 Journaling Challenge with Carey

Welcome to March! I'm so excited to host this month's journaling challenge! I hope you'll join along and take the time to include meaningful journaling on your project. Pictures say a lot, but to me, the important part of scrapbooking is telling the story behind the pictures and capturing life from our perspective.

So often we focus our scrapbook pages on our children, pets, friends, family, and do not create enough pages to capture who WE are. This month, I challenge you to do a page about yourself and journal about how you are lucky. It can be how someone or something makes you feel lucky, an attribute about yourself you feel lucky to have, a characteristic of your personality that aids in your luck in life.

Are you lucky at a particular game or activity? Do you have good luck with getting great seats in a restaurant? Picking the right line at the store? (please send some my way if you do) Do you find money in old coats or get great deals at rummage sales? These are just a few ideas to get you started.

You can journal about one topic or several, just remember, the focus needs to stay on YOU!

Journaling is always a challenge for me, lol! But this is a great topic and I think I just have to play along. Love the challenge tied in with the word "Lucky" for March!
