May Inspiration Challenge :)

Hello - welcome everyone.

Here is the inspiration challenge for the month of May.

I love artwork -especially graphic style artwork. (Sadly my walls are quite bare - mostly because I have a hard time 'choosing' art for my walls LOL. It is expensive to get large pieces of art and I don't want to buy something and then change my mind.)

I often use artwork as jumping off points for my pages. I might like the layout of a particular piece, or a colour scheme.....for instance.

I challenge you to use the piece of art I have chosen as inspiration and create a layout based on it.

At the end of the month I will randomly pick one winner to get a $5 gift certificate for DHD.

Jill, what a great idea! I love it! It's a really interesting piece of art.

All of the art on my walls have either been made by me or handed down through the family. They're mostly normal landscapes, nothing like that cool picture!

I loved this art piece and instantly knew what I wanted to do (even if it's a bit obvious.) Here's my submission

When I first looked at this piece of art, I wanted to do something bright and colorful, but it just wasn't happening for me. The thing that draws my eye to this artwork and makes me want to study it, is the circles within circles. So I decided to take my inspiration from that. Here's my submission.
