Aren't they just the cutest things?? I've been trying to write a journal entry every day with cute things that Ollie did that day - just a little reminder when he's bigger of how fun he was at this age (10mo). Here are a few... and share your cute stories too!
We have a really small window that is just like 18" off the ground and he can see the neighbors dogs from there. So he just walks over to the window and will stand there forever talking to those dogs. We call it "Ollie's window"
He loves to pull laundry out of baskets and the dryer and he just does it with so much intent that it's pretty much the cutest thing ever. He does this with all his toy bins and the diaper bag too.
Blueberries! He loves blueberries and would eat them constantly if we let him.
When I go to get him from his room in the morning he starts dancing as soon as he sees the door open. Since he started this Spencer has to go with me to get him in the morning because he wants to see the cuteness too. He'll dance for a good 5 minutes if we sing and dance with him.
He plays peek-a-boo constantly. Anytime he's behind a table or sofa and realizes he can hide, he'll duck down and then back up just as fast. If he has nowhere to hide he'll just lower his head and pop it back up super fast and grin so big.
He loves to do squats. He'll squat and play with his toys, and just squat up and down for fun. I think he's training to be an athlete.
He always says nini (night night) when I'm carrying him up the stairs to go to bed.

Awww. so sweet! He sounds like a ham. Last night Isla (who's 2) decided to get out of bed at 10 pm to play. He had a long nap that day and nothing scheduled the next day so I didn't bother telling her to go back to bed. So instead I listened to her sing and talk to her toys and then at 11 pm or so it got quiet. Too quiet. So naturally I peeked in on her. She had decided she had enough and crawled back to bed on her own (usually I just find her asleep on the floor)! It was so cute.

Can I play even if it's grandbabies? My favorite birthday present this past year came during my birthday phone call from my dd. I heard one of the twins in the background, and it sounded kind of melodic. I asked if she was singing, to which my dd, said, oh yeah, I think so. I put my dh on the phone and he immediately announced that she was singing Ariel's song from The Little Mermaid (her big sister had just received that movie weeks before for her birthday). Bear in mind that this is a year-old baby who does not speak anything but twinspeak yet -- and she sang to me! I am still trying to figure out how to scrap that one.
Love the other stories!

I love it when any of my kids comes up and gives me a hug or says I love you out of the blue. It melts my heart. Lately Maya who is three keeps asking to be a baby again. So I rocked her this morning and pretended to feed her a bottle and burp her. She really enjoyed that. Sometimes I wish I could keep her a baby.

Awwww.... Jen, how precious! Have you taken video of little Mr. Ollie doing his morning dance?? My son always wanted immediately out of the crib.
I miss my son being a baby. He's 12. Just last night he said, "nigh, nigh," which is what he used to say at an early age. I also remember when he used to say, "Rock me like a baby," and he was a lot older than 3! LOL
I totally would have melted from the singing (since I sing)!

Such sweet stories. Just thinking about my DGS's makes me happy. My DIL emailed me that Sam (19 months) got out of bed at 6:30 grabbed his boots and said "Grammy's?" She told him I was at work- sigh. Jack (4) likes to remind me that "Some girls don't work".
