New to DHD? Say HI!

Hi everyone! Seems like I see the same faces over and over again.. so if you've already seen me around, hello again! I also found DHD from a blog train or facebook or something.. I can't remember. I've been lurking around the digi-land for about 6-8 months now. During the birthday celebration, I attended a chat and met a few of the ladies here at DHD. I had never completed a digi layout before! Jen Flaherty was awesome and gave me the motivation I needed to actually start this year. I have completed 2 digi layouts now! 1 speed scrap and 1 4-play. It's fun, though very time consuming (since I'm still so slow at it.) But I look forward to 2012 and I think I'm gonna call DHD my digi home. I love it here!

So, about me. I am in my late 20's, live in Utah currently (but from California). I graduated in 2008 with a degree in Recreation Management & Youth Leadership and a minor in World Dance. You might see me scrap some layouts from my college adventures sometime. I have been married to my DH since 2006 and we have an adorable little boy who just turned 2. I enjoy being a part-time/hobbyist photographer, playing outdoors, board games and card games. Can't wait to get to know everyone more and hopefully contribute more here at DHD. As Katherine said, my name is Janneke. For those of you curious how to say that... it's Jan-i-kuh. It's a Dutch name, but I'm 100% American.

Janneke, I'm not sure where you live in Utah, but I'm near Park City if you ever want to get together. We've got a few others on the board that are in SLC, so maybe we could arrange a digital crop.

OOOOOoooooh... that'd be fun! I got a new laptop for Christmas so that would be a fun way to "haul my stuff" out somewhere and get something done. I live in Provo but I'm sure I could find a reason to come up there if there was an "event" planned. Maybe sometime in the next few months. Keep me posted!

Hi everyone, My name is Deb I live in Australia, I am a mother of two adult children boy/girl and I have two lovely grandchildren from my daughter boy/girl. I love to take photo's and especially to scrap them. I have been Digi Scrapping for a few years now. I started with paper/hybrid scrapping but when I moved into a smaller unit I did not have the room for all the materials that were needed so decided to move to digital and I will never look back. Just lately I have been losing my mojo with scrapping and so I decided to look around the web for new inspiration and I stumbled onto your site. I had a look around and found your Blue Print Template Challenge and thought what a fantastic challenge to participate in to recover my mojo so I am now registered, signed up for your newsletters and looking forward to participating in your forum and challenges.
