Hi Genn, This year I am using a single page format; using one template for a whole month - just flipping it each week and using papers and embellishments from the same kit for a month. Should be easy, but I don't think it is as easy as my two pager free for all last year. Don't think I'll do it this way again; it's a little boring. A lot less pages to print up though - that's a good thing! LOL

I try to keep my papers the same but the placement and number of photos will change. It gets a bit boring but I want my book to flow well. I do project life too. So that's where I have fun with colors and change it up every week.

Been working on it. Have my photos for 2012 to date sorted out by week. Taking them with me on a trip, and hope to get my weekly pages for the year so far completed. It has really helped to sort the photos out by week to help jog the memories for jorunaling.
Question... I am thinking since I have so many 'extra' stories to scrap that I want to give their own page... that I would group my weekly pages by quarter, and then a clump of extra pages from that time period, another quarter's worth of weeks, and another clump of extra pages. Has anyone else tried that?
I end up with a lot of pony pages, and am thinking that I could select my favorites (say from jan.feb.mar.) to put in the 'extra pages' section.
Would love to hear/read your thoughts! ~Kimberlee

Kimberlee, I did a similar approach with my 2011 book. I had so many favorite photos that I put a group of them with each month. So for example, I would have my weekly pages for January, then a bunch of full page favorites. Each month has a group of full page favorite photos. I was really happy with the result.

I use the same set of templates each week but switch up which actual template I use week to week (though I tend to favor 3 of them over the other 3). Most weeks, it's a one-pager unless something really exciting happens then I make a separate page for that event - but still use the same template set. I like that my pages are all similar in format, even though I use a different kit most weeks - well, after I convinced myself that a month using the same kit wasn't necessary. Still haven't printed a single page. Remain terrified about having them together in an actual printed form for people to view, though they're on my blog and easily seen. I need to get over myself!

Here is my first Summary page for March. I am using the same set of templates for each page but not the same kits.

May!? Ack...I am still working on finishing up March for my project life. Ah well always a day late... I have been loving this project though, staying consistent with my design and the overall basis of the project. Still plugging away at a photo a day and a little journaling with OhLife to keep me organized! I even got a book printed of my January and February pages, and LOVE the results!
