LOL - well, I tried to come up with something catchy for this month's "theme" ... but ended up with corny, instead. Oh well.

So, welcome to another month of Project 365/52/12 ... or however you are choosing to record those everyday moments. After last month, with Hurricane Irene and an earthquake, I'm hoping that things will calm down a bit for me. DH starts a new job in a few weeks, and DS goes back to school after the holiday weekend ... and then, fingers crossed, we can all settle down into a nice "normal" routine (of course, trying to define "normal" is quite a task all by itself! )

I hope you'll share your pages from this month - and past months, if you're playing catch-up. Everyone who posts at least one page will have the opportunity to be our winner of a DHD gift certificate ... but you won't be eligible if you just read the posts ... come on, I know you're lurking and reading

Looks like Kate Teague's new templates are in the store for the August P365 pages ... I'm headed to the store for a little shopping!

Still the height of summer here in northern California, and I am so proud to be keeping up with my weekly layouts.

This one is Week 34:

Woo hoo Diane! Look at you, still going strong. Have you thought what you're going to do with the pages? I thinking a hard-cover 8x8 book for mine - small enough to hold, but not so small that it disappears in your hand (KWIM? LOL). I'm thinking the from cover might be a selection of photos, one from each month ... and then include the year, somewhere, and that's it.

Labor Day weekend has come and gone, so that means the pools in the area will now close. It even feels like Fall today - temps supposed to top out at 70 degrees, and it's overcast and damp. Blech.

I have been thinking I would do a 12x12 hardcover book with my weeklies. One of my friends commented that I will have the most documented year ever :-) I have been printing my photos of the day as 4x6, plus I tend to do layouts with my photos of the day, so my 3 ring binder of photos plus layouts was so full and heavy that I had to buy another one for July on! :-)

I might consider an 8x8 book as well...I usually do 8x8 as gifts...it's a nice size.

Anyway, just posted my Week 36 (must go back and do 35). It's starting to look a little 'fallish' :-)

Sorry to be a thread-hog :-) but here is Week 37...Used Gen's Blueprint 10 (which is probably going to be used as a facing page, flipped, for Week 38).

Be a thread hog all you like, Diane! LOL Hey, maybe Meagan will jump in with something?

Love that squirrel close up - and Silver Creek - is that a golf course? Looks pretty.

We've had so much rain here recently (VA) that I'm not sure what my photos will be - I've actually *** cough cough *** borrowed some from the road trip the boys took earlier in the month. But I'm having fun taking pics of all the wild mushrooms that are sprouting up - like this one:

Wow, crazy mushroom pics! Kinda creepy and cool at the same time! :-)

Silver Creek is the region (around the creek), community and golf course where we live. It is beautiful :-)

I got lucky with that squirrel pic. Through the window with my DSLR which was handy and turns on quickly :-)
The squirrels, voles and bunnies all like to eat the flowers in my yard...sometimes I just let them :-)

Thanks for letting me be a thread hog!
