April P365 - Welcome to Spring!

Hi everyone - and welcome to Project 365 (or P52 or P12, depending on what you're doing). Is it Spring yet in your neck of the woods? I "thought" it was here (VA), but a quick cold snap brought snow flurries last weekend.

Hopefully this month we'll see the start of those picnic and barbeque photos, lots of flowers (no allergies, please), and outdoor activities, in general. We also have Easter later in the month.

Do you have any special events to celebrate and capture in photos this month?

We have a FULL month to capture - besides Easter, we have my husband's grandfather's 80th birthday, a big Zoo bash, my son's 1st birthday, my other son's Starbase Science & Space Camp and Spring just arrived this week! We went from Winter storms (hail, tornados, snow, wind and flooding rain) to 80+ degree weather in the space of a few days!
Can't wait!

Meagan, I wish WE had 80 degrees - we're at about 45-50 today ... blah!

I guess I am doing a hybrid between P365 and P52. But for at least the last 2 weeks, I've enjoyed putting my photos into weekly layouts.

Last week, we returned to "normal" weather after a week of rain. It is fun to see the two weeks side by side, the gray of week 12 giving way to brighter colors in week 13.

I'm actually quite excited about April. First all all, I have a girls night out coming up soon. Then an evening with my husband's friends who we hardly get to see. Easter egg hunt and Easter Sunday. Finally, we are expecting our first batch of baby chicks. My husband has been working on building our own chicken coop in the back and he is almost done. Our local hatchery will have brand new baby chicks ready for pick up on April 18th. We are so excited. In 5 months, we will be eating farm fresh eggs.

Kym, that sounds like fun - and I bet I know a little girl that's anxiously waiting for the new arrivals, too.

Diane, I checked out your blog - and yes, the side-by-side of the P52 pages is really neat to showcase the color differences and "mood" from week to week.

So, today is tax deadline day - is anyone going to include a picture of their tax forms, maybe a refund check? Easter is just around the corner. Have your children participated in any Easter egg hunts?

What photos have you taken so far this month?

Since I already did mine last month, I did include a picture of my return since it seems to take over that whole day.
We had 2 bday parties already and we are doing an egg hunt today with my Mom's Club and then 2 on Sunday with families. Plus, I think we are decorating eggs on Wed.

Meagan, sounds like fun! My DS is 16, so all he's concerned about - and constantly asking about - right now is chocolate. How much chocolate is he getting? What kind of chocolate is he getting?

I'm actually thinking of making a HUGE batch of brownies this weekend, since DH will eat those, too ... so Happy Easter to them both, at once.
