January's 365 Challenge!

Very nice, Carina! I'm looking forward to getting my first week completed over the weekend. I've decided (after much back and forth! LOL), that I'm going to do Sun-Sat for my weeks, but will add January 1 and 2 to my Week 1 layout.

I just picked up Deena's 365 Starter Kit, which has week stickers that I will be using.

My good friend just finished a 365 and it looked fun. I am going to try a hybrid of options 1 and 2.

On a side note, I love this site! I just got into digital scrapbooking and I love the ideas, tutorials, and the store! You are so smart to get Mary Shaw to do the site. She is a wonderful programmer (and friend!) Love you Mary!

I picked up Jen Allyson's new January Album kit and along with her January Kit & Carina's Essentials papers, I am going to use it for my P365 pages. The individual pages just have the photos & dates & then there is a monthly summary page for putting the photo captions for each day beside the date.

I have finished the first 2 pages & I am going to keep the background the same among them all so here is the first page & overall look of what I am going with.

I love how my first week of P365 turned out. So glad to have such awesome products here at DHD.

Wow, Tiffany. That page is incredible. I am just getting started with digital scrapbooking and am amazed at what you can do with those elements.

Great layouts all!! At first I thought I would keep it weekly by the calendar. But I read somewhere that someone said they just put 7 days on a page and didn't concern themselves with which day it started on, so now I'm going to adopt that! Hoping to get my first 7 days on a page tonight, if I can get time away from refereeing my daughters! Starting to get cabin fever I think.

Since I'm doing a weekly P365 that hits just the highlights (rather than a photo a day), the highlight of my week was our New Year's trip to San Antonio ... and here's my page.

Here's my first page. I feel like this took me forever to do. I used Jen Allysons's Vanity Sepia papers and stamps and I built the page using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio.

Ok, I've chosen option 2, but don't know if I'm doing it right! This is my first 365 challenge so go easy on me! I've chosen pictures from one day during the first week and have done 1 layout! Hope that's right!
