Are you planning on mixing color and bw on your layouts? I'm guessing that would be the thing to do when you have a color clashing problem!

Missy, I find that if I put a low-mid opacity photo filter adjustment layer over all of my photos on a layout with a common color picked out from my page, it gives all of the photos a slight similar haze which helps cut down on color clashing moments.

I've already made my album for January 2010. I will be posting each page that was premade on my blog Carina.

this is fabulous! I actually am going to choose option 5 - at the end of each month I'll go through and choose photos from that month and do a layout with them :) I'm SO looking forward to this to have an easier version of our "year in review" book!

I've always wanted to do this, so here goes! I'm keeping up so far. Of course, it is only January 3! I think I'd like to make a monthly layout with a photo from each day. I am going to make a little notebook to keep track of what each photo represents and the day taken. Betsy

I think I'll try either #2 or #3. I need to get started right away!

hi all

I'm going to give this a try again this year. I'm thinking I'll go daily photos and weekly LOs. If I miss a day I can always go back and take two photos the next day - no stress this year.
I've started a blog for mine this year too - http://nightwolfs-project365.blogspot.com/

I think I am going to give this a try too. I'm planning on a photo everyday, and hopefully a layout per week.

Hi Carina! I think I'm going to do Option #3 - a weekly series, but not necessarily events/photos for every day - just a page that hits on the highlights of the week.

Oh, thanks for this tip, Heather!! I just did my first week, and I plan for week 2 to be a coordinating layout (left side odd weeks - right side even weeks). I guess I'll wait until week 2 is completed and then try this! Right now I'm thinking of always using the same neutral background on at least one of the two pages, so I guess I can always use that for a little haze!
