Fall Photos

What are you favorite things to photograph is the Fall? I love the colors, of course, but I think I love the flowers even more - especially the 'mums. I have noticed, however, a few pine trees already with pine cones on them ... thinking they might be in line for a little photo shoot this weekend.

I wish we had more foliage here, but the desert does not comply with MY wishes. But I love taking close-ups of my dd playing outdoors, esp. her eyes with nice catch-lights. If we get a chance to visit the changing leaves, I would LOVE to get some gorgeous reds and yellows. I love Fall leaves.

I can provide you with some oranges, russets and yellows, Jennifer, but no reds. Some of our trees are already bare, some are turning and some are green. It's difficult to get everything at the right state of readiness!

I love harvested fields and seeing the geese looking for spilled grain in them. Our sunrises and sunsets are always spectacular but it seems they're even more so in the fall. I like frost patterns on the leaves that are still clinging (as long as I'm not having to scrape it off my windshield!) and children with rosy cheeks.

Jan, I'd forgotten about the geese - we've had a few flying overhead. There was a pretty good group of them at the middle school football fields last weekend. Wonder if they will be back again?
