We’re back, and this week the Decorators and I are absolutely smitten with Jen Allyson’s new Smitten Mini kit!
This kit has everything you need to create some super sweet pages. But it’s not just for Valentine’s Day; check out these layouts, perfect any day of the year!
I love the subtle pink polka dots on this paper! I layered the frames, one on top of the other, but added the paisley paper inside the smaller one. I only used a portion of the tag, and I actually duplicated the ‘a’ on it, recolored it, and added it to the heart for a final personalized touch.

Tiffany did some clustering with her layout, too; check out how she used two of the smaller frames side by side! I love how the bottom sheet of polka dot paper is just barely visible, but it matches two of her folded hearts. This layout really helps tell the story of her daughter’s homemade Valentines.
This layout by Missy Backues is simply perfect:
Her photo definitely takes center stage, just as it should. Did you notice the subtle shadows cast by her paisley paper? Great, huh? The addition of the pink mat around the white frame keeps it from getting lost on the light polka dot paper, and I especially love the mini heart with her last line of journaling!
Our fourth layout this week is by Jill Beamer:
I love the rows of patterned paper here, and the clever way she split her title into two different areas is so cool! Changing the photo to B&W helps keep the attention there, which is really needed with such strong horizontal lines. What a great layout to celebrate a monumental occasion!

I know this may sound silly, but I absolutely love Joe Mauer (Minnesota Twins). Last night I attended the taping of his interview for ESPN’s “Homecoming with Rick Reilly” last night and it was so amazing. He is such a humble, genuine person and talented athlete. I admire celebrities that stay grounded even though they might be famous.
The kit is very pretty! I love very cold Mt. Dew in a can.
I do love chocolate-sorry if that’s cliche. Every day after lunch I just crave a bite of chocolate.
I love watching my 6 1/2 month old son tasting a new food for the first time — the look on his face is so precious!

I love the color purple, grey kitties, ice cold water on a hot day, sleeping in, the “good morning to you” song my daughter used to sing to me every morning, fresh veggies, a good sweaty workout and warm snuggles with my husband.
Of course I absolutely LOOOVE my kids, that’s a given….so I’ll say, I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING! I just started and i am addicted beyond control! I have been a traditional scrapper for 15 years and swore I’d never cross over into digital….I was way wrong!
