How to use masks in Photoshop & Photoshop Elements
Hello there – I’m very pleased to bring you my first video tutorial blog. Today I’m bringing you masks. I’m also hosting the 4Play on Monday and masks will be featuring. So the reason for the blog post is really to make sure people who have never used masks before and want to play – can. I have made a Photoshop and a Photoshop Elements version. Unfortunately I don’t have any of the other software that you guys might be using so please add comments for other software – how it works or not – so other people can see and learn. I know from the forums there are LOTS of different programs out there that you are all using.
There are many ways to do the same thing and there are no right or wrong ways – its whatever works for you. Please add your thoughts and comments as I’d love to learn what works for you. I’m will also be adding another mask tutorial in the coming weeks which shows a different way to do masks – new to me – but very smart. Each method has its advantages. I like the simplicity of the method I’m showing you today – and its very versatile to adapt to any selection you might make and then want to turn into a mask. I literally use it all the time!
Finally – let us know what you want to see! Are there things you want know? What videos tutorials do you want to watch?
