How to make an easy Hybrid Layout

When I saw these gorgeous patterns from Audrey Neal I knew they’d be just right to scrap some of those extra wallet sized school photos. I used Audrey Neal’s The Write Stuff Digital Kit and a few of my traditional supplies to create this layout.

  • I printed a few papers and elements on American Crafts Textured White Cardstock (8.5″ x 11″)

  • I used a 2″ Marvy Circle Punch to punch 2 circles from each pattern and each picture.
  • I adhered the circles in a grid pattern to a 12″x12″ Kraft cardstock.

  • I used a paper piercing tool, mat and ruler to pierce along a few of the argyle lines.
  • I handstitched with divine twine.

  • I printed and cut out a few digital elements and mounted them to the circles with foam adhesive for dimension.
  • I added corduroy buttons and brads for accents.

I printed small captions for the pictures, hand cut and adhered to photos.

I added the title in White Chipboard Thickers.

So cute, Joscie! I didn’t think to use a punch on the school pics. I have plenty of extra pics, so I wouldn’t be afraid to mess up!
