Karen may look familiar to you — thats because she was a Decorator here at DHD before she became a designer. She’s been working on perfecting her designing skills and has come out with a bang releasing 27 amazing digital scrapbooking kits for her designer debut. Not only is she talented, she’s completely darling, sweet and adorable. We’re excited to have her here! Here is a little more information on Karen and her background:
Karen was introduced to the world of scrapbooking when she was only 12 years old. Although the styles and trends have changed a lot since that time, her passion has not. In addition to spending thousands of hours on her own albums, she’s also created hundreds of layouts for others, and has taught many scrapbooking classes and workshops.
Karen started digital scrapbooking in 2008, after getting frustrated with all the “stuff” everywhere. She has served on several designer and store creative teams, including being a decorator here at Design House Digital. She began digital designing in early 2010.
Karen attended Utah State University, where she studied graphic design and journalism. It was there that she met her husband. They now live in Southern Utah with their four beautiful children. In addition to digi-scrapping and designing, Karen enjoys running, swimming, hangin’ with the family, and all things crafty.
