Top in the Shop

AudTop3Good Morning, all! Gen here, with a special guest appearance by Audrey Neal (our oh-so-talented Digital Designer), for this week’s favorites!

The first one Audrey chose is Jen Allyson’s Postage Stamp Frames.

She said, “I love the look of a simple frame on my photos, and these fit the bill. Plus, they have a little “something extra,” with decorative edges or wider borders that give me a spot to add a little note or an extra embellishment.”

Next, she loved Deena Rutter’s Oh Darling element set.

Audrey raved, “Polka dots, cute birdies, AND that shade of orangy-red? Be still, my heart!!! Three things that I adore all wrapped into one package — what’s not to like? Plus, the simple elements offer lots of flexibility and versatility — turn them into stickers, stack them on chipboard, or combine them with additional elements.”

Her third choice this week is Carina Gardner’s Affectionate Cards.

Her thoughts? “There’s no need to buy another cartoon-themed set of Valentine’s Cards at Target on a last-minute trip this year. Carina’s printable cards are a much cuter option! I love the cute graphics and the variety of designs.”

If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, check out Deena’s Oh Darling Print + Cut Gifting Pack for your Valentines this year.

The color scheme (I dig that color, too!) plus the fresh, clean designs can really make your loved one feel… well, loved! (Be sure to check out the pictures of projects you can make with this kit, including this awesome bag topper!)

I also super loved Audrey’s Butterfly Fancy kits out this week, and in particular, her Butterfly Fancy Elements.

The colors are incredible (check out Decorator Lori Pickens’ blog post for even more inspiration!)  and with masks, word art, and adorable flowers all included, you’ll have plenty of possibilities. Probably one of  my favorites of all time of Audrey’s kits!

My third choice this week is Jen’s Real Simple Grunge Frames.

Although I normally use a cleaner frame (like Jen’s Real Simple Clean Frames), I love the bit of aging and distressing on these. With the shadows already included, it can’t get any easier than this! In fact, I used it for Audrey’s picture at the top of the post, if you want to check it out!

Apparently I’m a bad influence, because Jen is (ahem) breaking the rules this week. She has to give a shout-out for Meredith Fenwick’s Starburst iPhone/iTouch Backgrounds.

She absolutely loves them, and how easy it is to give her iPhone a bit of personality!

Thanks for checking in, and we’ll see you next week with more of our favorite new releases!
