Recipe Card Hybrid Project
Hello everyone! Let me just start out by declaring my love for digital scrapbooking! I have a love affair with patterns and it is so much fun having an archive of cute prints and embellishments that can be used whenever the need arises.
I have a group of neighborhood friends that does a freezer meal swap. If you never have participated in a freezer meal swap I’d definitely recommend starting a group! Basically you take a freezer friendly meal, make enough for each family in your group, and then meet and trade meals. You end up with a freezer full of home cooked dinners that you didn’t have to make! And because you are making a big batch of one thing, you dont have to buy a ton of different ingredients which makes it budget friendly too. Love it!
One thing our group does is bring the recipe of whatever we make to the swap. That way if there is something your family particularly loves you can add it to your regular meal plan. But I dont just bring a recipe, I bring a freaking cute recipe!
Oh and by the way, the Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff I made for this months swap was super yummy. My family LOVED it! If you like Stroganoff I’d recommend giving it a try! (You can click on the image to get a bigger view of the recipe.)
And every time I make a recipe card I make a blank copy too. That way I have a cute card on file if I ever need to jot down a recipe for someone.
To make this card I used the adorable Notable Quotable Collaboration by the DHD Designers. Grey, Aqua, and Yellow is one of my favorite color schemes right now so I couldn’t get enough of this adorable kit!
Just print the recipe cards out on card stock (they are 4×6 images), cut them out and you are all ready to go! But just to warn you, all your friends may give you crap about being an overachiever and making everyone else look bad.
