Name: Renee Fink
What camera do you use? No fancy camera equipment here. I use an ultra-compact Canon SD1200 which I carry daily and a Fuji FinePix S700.
What program do you create in? Software? I’m a software junkie. I primarily use PSE7 for my layout creation and PSPX for my photo editing and manipulation. However, I frequently use FotoFusion for the auto-collage function and also own Creative Memories StoryBook Creator and Memory Mixer. I think I’m a collector of software.
How long have you been digital scrapbooking? I have been digi scrapping for about 2 and a half years. I was a paper scrapper for about 8 or 10 years prior to that.
How would you describe your scrapbook style? My style is clean and linear with an abundance of white space.
Where do you create, and when? I generally work in our home office in the late evening, sometimes into the early morning. My husband works from home and he uses the office during the day but after our evening meal it becomes scrapping central.
What’s your ‘go-to’ technique or trick? I frequently start a layout with a template. To me, a template is like a rough draft. Its a good place to start and gets you outlined and organized but you have to really change it to make it your own. I sort my templates on my hard drive according to the number of photos on the layout. After I determine the pictures that will go on a page I search through those templates and have a great starting point for a layout.
What’s your favorite color combination? I certainly gravitate toward earth tones. I would scrap every page in brown, green and blue if I weren’t careful.
Do you prefer movies or books? Books, hands down!
What’s your favorite snack? That’s like asking me to pick my favorite kid. I love butterfinger candy bars, coke zero and nacho cheese doritos. That covers all the major snack groups.
What type of music do you like? I generally listen to contemporary Christian music.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? The easy answer is to say “with my family”. However, if my family gets to come along we would pick the mountains every day and twice on Sunday.
What five adjectives describe you best? Honest, Determined, Loyal, Loving, Compassionate

We organize our templates the same way! I’m so happy cause I thought I was being a little too crazy doing it that way. =)
