Meet Lori Pickens

It’s so much fun to introduce you to all of our Decorators. Here is a little bit about the lovely Lori Pickens:

web450_AllAboutMe

Name: Lori Pickens
What camera do you use? Nikon D70
What program do you create in? Adobe Photoshop CS3
How long have you been digital scrapbooking? A little over three years
How would you describe your scrapbook style? Adaptable.  I don’t really have one style, instead I like to mix it up based on the layout and my mood.
Where do you create, and when? Mostly on my laptop, and any time I can!!!
What’s your ‘go-to’ technique or trick? Masking.  I use clipping masks on just about every layout I make.  I pretty much create each layout as a template and then clip my papers and elements to them.  It makes it very quick and easy to change out papers or photos and gives me lots of options for adjusting them.
What’s your favorite color combination? For me, this changes all the time.  Currently I’m lovin’ brown, white and teal.
Do you prefer movies or books? I probably prefer books, but only have time for movies.
What’s your favorite snack? Cereal
What type of music do you like? Christian and country
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Honestly, I would live where I do now.  I like to visit other places, but I love my home town and having so much family around us.  I would like to change the weather and skip winter altogether!
What five adjectives describe you best?
busy, happy, loved, loyal, organized

I would skip winter every year too! I use to live in mesa, az – and not having winter was, by far, the best.
