Layout of the Week – Knock Out
With our Super Gallery Bowl challenges all week long, we definitely had a hopping gallery this week, and the choices were hard! But, I got through it (wink) and have chosen this beautiful layout by Elle:
That photo is stunning, obviously, but I loved how the focal point was slightly closer than the sweet face, giving it an unexpected twist. The colors are soft and understated, and the centered design is balanced out by a few things: the torn edge, the uneven yellow strip, and the two different sized blocks. And, even though she’s used four different patterned papers here, the page is still calm and serene. Congrats again to Elle, who wins Layout of the Week with Knock Out, and a gift certificate to Design House Digital!
