Wow, the gallery was fabulous this week, and I had a heck of a time narrowing it down. But, although my job is rough, I managed to get through it, and I bring to you Daily Errands:
Layout by Allison Waken
Allison brings a cool and contemporary twist to her layout, in shades of grey, aqua, and mustard yellow. The grid is repeated throughout, in the background paper, the brackets, and the squares of patterned paper with their subtle outlines. She breaks it up with the strong, vibrant patterns, but keeps it in small doses so it doesn’t overpower the page. It’s a great way to highlight this fun photo and showcase a slice of life, and it wins her the title of ‘Layout of the Week,’ plus a gift certificate to Design House Digital. Congrats!
