Hybrid Mini Album – Summer Memories
As soon as I saw Jen Allyson’s July 365 kit I knew I had to use it for this mini. The colours and sentiments were perfect for the photos of Kieran from this summer.
My album is 5″x5″ in size, so I made a quick template in Photoshop with two 4.5″x4.5″ squares to use as clipping masks
I clipped my photos to the template in turn, and added the desired elements on top
Then I prepared the front and back covers.
Printed and cut everything out
Then put it all together!
I “wallpapered” the album pages with kraft cardstock, then rounded the corners of the photo pages. My original thought was to add additional embellishments to each page, but once I wrote the journaling there really was no need! The only additional thing I used was letter stickers for the title on the cover.
I pulled this project together in about an hour. A simple and effective way to capture some summer memories!
