4 Play

Hello Everyone, it’s Jennifer Valencia here with another fun 4-Play for you! I hope you like blue and orange, because those are the predominant colors this week. I chose a variety of kits that featured blue and orange (although you can recolor the word art and other pieces if you so choose!) to highlight this week.
The kits are: Protector Pockets 2 by Karla Dudley
Gratitude Mini-Kit by Robyn Meierotto
A Kind Word Vol. 4 by Deena Rutter
Be Unique Digital Kit by Karen Funk
In my layout, I chose pictures of my little one listening to shells from the ocean, and found some great colors to match and complement the photos.
Next up is a layout by Tiffany Bodily. Tiffany says, “I immediately thought “boy” when I saw this week’s kit selections – although they could just as easily be used for a girl page. I loved the theme of gratitude included in the selection for the week as well. Being a mother to my son, Carson, is certainly one of the best things in my life and I am so grateful for this privilege. I really enjoyed playing with the pockets and the colors this week and creating a page was so quick & easy. Thanks for such great inspiration in selecting these kits Jennifer.”
Here we have a layout by Celeste Smith. She says, “Jennifer chose the perfect mix of colors for this 4 Play. I even love how Deena’s word art fits the color palette, even though it can be colored anyway you choose! I started with a hexagon and added a scattered few of them clipping patterned papers from Robyn & Karen as I went. Karla’s protector created the perfect place to put my photo. Of course, no layout of mine is complete without a few buttons, both Karen’s kit and Robyn’s had just the right amount to top off my page! ”
And here is a lovely layout by Christy Carlson. Christy says, “I immediately thought of a sunny “boy” page when I saw the colors for this weeks 4Play kits! I dug around and found these fun lake pictures from last summer and the blues of the water and the oranges worked great. I loved putting my pictures in the little page protectors and especially love the yellow zig zag circle sticking out of the one. The buttons and stapled cut out elements were really fun to add at the end. All in all…super fun kits to work with!”
Please play along with us and make a blue/orange masterpiece to share! (You know you want to!)
