1 Kit, 4 Ways – Sweet Bee
This week, I’m so happy to be bringing you a fantastic collaboration by Jen Allyson and Celeste Knight, called Sweet Bee:
With it’s sweet color scheme and fun elements, this kit is a must have! Would you like to see what the Design House Decorators have done with it? Me, too, so let’s get to it!

Celeste says: “I was really drawn to the colors and those fabulous hexagons in this kit. I extracted one of the hexagons and duplicated it a few times. Then I clipped some of Celeste’s papers to the bits I added. I used a little word art from Jen and some from Celeste to title my page. Just a stunning kit to play with all around!”

Janell says: “When I first saw this kit a line from a song came into my mind “All I’d want is you to be is my sweet honey bee” and reminded me of the relationship my oldest son and daughter have. The pinks and yellow are so fresh and fun to create with. I love the flowing banners that Jen made and both kits have some amazing patterned paper in them. This kit exudes happiness.”

Jennifer says: “I loved the cheerful yellow and pinks in this kit, and matched them up with busy pictures from Disneyland that had some of the colors in them. I kept the layout simple and used minimal embellies because the photos themselves have so many different competing colors — I loved the word strips in Jen’s kit and the word flags in Celeste’s (you can see them peeking out from behind photos to add some visual interest & texture to the page.) I layered two papers for the background and changed the opacity on the top one to create a blended look, and added a thin blue stroke around the edge of the page.”

Mandi says: “These kits are adorable and the colorful papers drew me in right away. My “pink” daughter came to mind and these great colors helped me express the fun she had on her birthday this year.”
