1 Kit, 4 Ways: Hold On To Happy
I’m happy to be sharing this week’s collaboration with you, called Hold On To Happy by Crystal Livesay and Angie Hinksman:
Crystal’s cluster-y (totally a word!) templates and Angie’s mix of papers and elements in a fun color scheme will take all the hard work out of your next layout. Let’s take a look at some layouts by our ever-inspiring Decorators:
Tiffany says: “Hold On To Happy,” the name of this kit, is good advice. These two beautiful girls are my nieces and when I get to babysit them it just makes me happy. The colors of this kit are so soft and pretty and worked very well with this outdoor photo I shot last month. I made the template my own by using all the “photo” spots to add embellishments and taking the top portion where paper was suggested for use and placed my large photo there. Templates are so fun to adapt and use and I am especially loving the ones in this collection.
Janell says: The “Hold on to Happy” Collection title evokes some tender feelings in my heart for my dear friend who moved away. I miss her and on hard days hold on to those happy memories we made together. I took elements of Crystal’s template #1 and added in all of the fabulous elements by Angie to come up with this fun layout. The colors are bright and cheery, right up my alley!
Arielle says: I really love the name of this kit – Hold On To Happy! When I read it, and saw the gorgeous girly colors, I immediately thought of a picture of Maisie I took recently of her holding a book. Books are definitely one of Maisie’s “happy” things. She even wants to sleep with them! (which now that I think about it – I should have put that into the journaling! YAY for digital – now I CAN go back and add it!) Anyway, I loved Crystal’s template #2, I ended up moving the layout down a little. The simplicity of Angie’s papers and elements worked really well with the template to transform it into a sweet little page!
Lori says: I love the fresh colors in Angie’s kit. They make any layout happy and give you lots of options to work with. Mix that with Crystal’s amazing templates and you’ll have a layout done in no time! Perfect combo to help me capture some of these maternity memories that I want to hold on to.
