We’re back, and on this holiday (at least here in the states) eve, we’re going to get you in the holiday mood with Dana Zarling’s Frosted Cranberry:
C’mon, pink and grey? What’s not to love! Let’s take a look at what the Design House Decorators put together for us.
Jennifer says: “I love this combination of pinky reds, grays, and a hint of grunge. Grungy papers make me feel cool, like I’m wearing skinny jeans in New York City, taking the subway to some eclectic cafe to meet my poetry group or my book editor, where I will drink outrageously expensive and gourmet coffee with my long elegant fingers peeking out from my cashmere sweater and make witty sophisticated conversation with my colleagues, and generally sparkle. In reality I’m typing in my broken swivel-chair in my plus PJ’s with Sharpie-stained fingers and a warm half-finished apple juice box, and the sparkle comes mostly from today’s glitter project that spilled onto me, but I still feel pretty darn cool because of the papers (ha!) and because I’m scrapping these pics of my sweet daughter. (She’s cooler than any New York fantasy.) The papers are great for a princess pink page, and the star embellies — although certainly good for the holidays — can double as symbols of happiness and BLING BLING, which — as you can agree — is necessary for any urban hipster or a small fairy princess.” (Credits: Frosted Cranberry by Dana Zarling; Toolbox – Shadows V.1 by Gennifer Bursett)
Katherine says: “I don’t get that much snow where I live, so some winter kits are a challenge – but not this one. Last year we got dumped on, and I remembered pictures of my puppy in her pink coat, playing in the snow – perfect! I’m a sucker for greenery and branch elements, so I just had to grab the kit and play.” (Credits: Frosted Cranberry by Dana Zarling)
Tiffany says: “I love the colors of this kit. So many snow theme or Christmas theme kits follow traditional colors and this one was a little out of the box which was perfect for the photos I wanted to scrap. I felt that the kit complimented the grey coat and dark pink gloves she was wearing and even the pastel hat. I love that this kit can be used for both Christmas theme pages as well as many winter themes. I also used a template to make this layout come together as fast as the snow was falling that crisp day.” (Credits: Frosted Cranberry by Dana Zarling; Stuffy Template No. 4-7 by Tiffany Bodily)
Mandi says: “I had so much fun on this layout. Dana’s kit is amazing and really inspired me. I used one of her patterned papers to create an overlay look (snowflakes) that I love. While I don’t tend to use pinks and reds on my son’s pages, it just seemed to fit with the feel of the photo – Fun stuff!” (Credits: Frosted Cranberry by Dana Zarling)
Inspiring pages, aren’t they? For your chance to win this kit, comment here and answer this:

I’ll be back next week to choose a winner. In the meantime, be sure to stop by this weekend when Dana’s entire store will be on sale, plus a free kit and a dollar kit!

Fresh always – I have a quick little recipe that is wonderful.
While I do like the canned ones, when I cook it is fresh all the way! Thanks for the chance to win!
I have to go with fresh. Thanks for the chance to win.
fresh for me also but the kids prefer the canned jellied. I love this kit.
thanks for the chance!
What a pretty kit! Although I love the canned jellied cranberry sauce, there’s really nothing better than fresh. I bake only with fresh.
I’m Canadian, so we had our Thanksgiving some time ago. At that time, I used canned jellied cranberry sauce. I have never made or tasted the fresh.
Fresh for me! My mom has an awesome recipe. Those and the salad were the only things my kids would eat of the traditional meal! Such a pretty kit and great LOs!
Um…juice? My mom is allergic to cranberries, so I don’t associate them with Thanksgiving much. I like to drink cranberry juice, though.
Very pretty kit.
Either way. I’ll take canned if fresh isn’t available. I just love the tartness.
