This week, we’re using a template, more specifically, Tiffany Tillman’s Fresh Lemonade Template Set.
We used Template 2, which is a single page layout, and has six photo frames all wrapped up with a bow. The template is ready to go, or, you can modify it, like we did! (Want to win it? Stay tuned!)
I kept the layout the same, but shrank the ribbon down to wrap around only one of my photos. I blended the yellow paper (which comes with the templates) and a kraft paper from Audrey Neal’s Neutral Stock, and added the date using Audrey’s Dotted Dates. Repeating the same photo six times makes just as much of a statement as one large photo, which is a great solution for those less-than-perfect shots!

Katherine Hansen created this layout to showcase a new feathered friend. She used the gradient fill option in Photoshop to create her rainbow background paper, and filled in three of the photo frames with solid colors that match her colorful bird. A fun, sketchy font for her title is all it takes to finish the page off!

With her clever title, Jill Beamer certainly wrapped up a great layout! Adding the die cut paper from Deena Rutter’s Happier-Paper Set 2 is a simple, easy way to frame her photos, while the symmetrical design keeps all the attention front and center. Did you see her journaling? Simple and perfect, just like her page!

Missy Backues wraps us up this week, and in a fabulous way! We all document our vacations, but we sometimes forget an important part: the hotel, of course! She also used the yellow paper included in the kit, but kicked it up with one of Deena’s Happier papers. Adding the title in turquoise pulls the page together, and plays up the great color of the water in the swimming pool. What fun!

So, want to win Tiffany’s Fresh Lemonade Templates? Post here, and tell me about the last thing you wrapped. Me? Well, I ‘rapped’ with Run-DMC and Aerosmith to ‘Walk This Way’ earlier this morning… does that count? **Melissa got to unwrap a lovely DSLR recently! This will definitely help her wrap up a few layouts with all her fabulous new pictures!**
