1 Kit, 4 Ways – Flight Path
We’re back with another 1 Kit, 4 Ways, and this week we’re excited to be featuring a new kit by Audrey Neal, called Flight Path:
I absolutely adore the graphic lines to this kit, as well as the fun color scheme featuring some of my favorite colors. Ready to see what we did with it?
Since I’ve never been on a plane (ish) I did a photoless layout about where I want to go. Some of my favorite layouts are the ones that don’t have photos, because I really get to focus on the story. This template provided me lots of space and a nice centered design… so my style! I modified the “first class” pennant to fit into my space better, and lowered the opacity of the cloud paper (and put it over white) so it didn’t detract from my journaling. Jen says: “I loved the bright colors in this kit and the blue that goes perfectly with the blue seats on the airplane! I had fun creating a focal point with cluster of items using lots of Audrey’s unique elements.” (Credits: Flight Path by Audrey Neal; Modern Master Template No. 7 by Tiffany Tillman; Toolbox – Mists Vol. 5 by Gennifer Bursett)
Jennifer says: “I loved the cool vintage airline feel to the kit, and the fun graphics. As always, though, I used a neutral background (I do love my neutral backgrounds!) and used just a pop of paper to accent my photos. I liked the ‘first class’ theme and text that Audrey repeated on several elements, so I went with that same theme for some background text on my page. I want to use this kit again with some great black and white airport photos I took on my cell phone last year…I’ve been saving those for a kit just like this!” (Credits: Flight Path by Audrey Neal; Toolbox – Shadows V.1 by Gennifer Bursett)
Allison says: “I loved this kit as soon as I saw it. The colors coordinated so well together and it instantly reminded me of my Grandpa who loves airplanes. I wanted to use a few of the patterned papers but chose to use them in smaller spaces so it wouldn’t take over the images.” (Credits: Flight Path by Audrey Neal)
