1 Kit, 4 Ways: Family Fun
I’m absolutely adoring this week’s collab, and I can’t wait to show you Family Fun, by Karen Funk and Erica Coombs:
The color scheme is a great alternative to the traditional primary colors you see so often in kits of this theme, and will work equally well for boy, girl, or adult photos. Let’s take a look at some layouts created by the DHD Decorators:

Janell says: “I loved working with this color combination from Karen and Erica, it’s like it was taken straight from a watermelon. These kits are FULL of amazing patterned papers…I especially love Karen’s tiny fruit prints on her papers. Erica’s alphabet comes in 4 colors which makes it great to mix and match on the same layout.”

Celeste says: “The mix of colors and patterns in this kit is simply gorgeous. I chose to create a page where I could highlight quite a few of them. I even made an epoxy out of Erica’s ant paper. Karen’s BBQ word art inspired me to scrap a page about my husband barbequing. I used one of Erica’s alphas as a button type element. Such fun kits to play with!”

Rachel says: “When I saw the two kits, my mind was swimming with ideas. It is the perfect collaboration for picnics, but can be used for so much more. I love the soft colors used and knew right away that I wanted to use this picture of my kids with it. I loved these kits and cannot wait to create more with them.”

Missy says: “The fun patterned papers in this collab caught my eye right away! I especially love the pears and the plaids. I used the DHD gallery as inspiration for design this time and found a great layout called Overheard by Shannon Dombowski that I wanted to scraplift. I balanced my photo with that cute pocket card on one side and the word art card on the other. The colors are summery and the elements are just right! Looking forward to using this collab again soon after a BBQ with friends next weekend!”
