We’re back, and this week we’re working with Spencer Nugent’s Design 365: January Pack. Want to win it? Keep reading! Congrats to our winner: Cat‘s not certain what she’ll use this for, but she thinks it might be one of her ‘go to’ kits!
You may remember, this was one of my Top in the Shop picks the week it came out… I’ve been dying to see what the Decorators can do with it!
First up, Heather Guenther has a bit of her confession in her layout:

I can definitely identify with this one; can you? I love layouts like this… they’re honest, they’re fun, and there’s no photo required! I’m also digging the way she piled the daily tags on top of each other! (Heather: be on the lookout for a scraplift!)
Next, we’re peeking into Jennifer Valencia‘s heart, with this tender layout:

Her journaling is amazing, and the cool blues and greys look great with her black and white photo. Did you notice the way she stacked her snowflakes on top of each other? With one on top of the tree and one bridging the gap between the photo and journaling, they are the perfect accent, and she finished off her page with a bit of creative editing on the ‘one in a million’ label.
Lisa VanderVeen proves that it’s not all palm trees and beaches in southern CA:

The addition of the bright colors to her text really helps the page from feeling too cold, and helps play up the fun fact that she’s less than two hours from LA. The linear layout (from one of the templates in the kit) enables her to get four photos and journaling on her page, without it looking cluttered! WOW!
Our fourth layout this week is by Renee Fink:

It’s the title page to an All About Him album for her husband, and she really liked the grungy, cool colors for a masculine layout. I agree! Renee modified Tiffany Tillman’s Scrappable Template No. 10 to fit her 8.5×11 landscape album, and by switching all of her photos (from different times) to black and white, it keeps the page unified. I gotta say this: Hubba Hubba, Renee!
So, what do you think? Are you loving the versatility of this kit? Post a comment here, confessing something you’d scrap with Design 365: January Pack, and you could win it!

I would use the kit to scrap my son’s 13th birthday pictures–I love the “one in a million” stamp–it would be great for his page!
This kit is amazing! I love the colors. I would use it to scrap our sledding pictures from January!
i LOVE Heather’s layout as well. great idea for a Project 365/52 when you didn’t get the camera out – journal the memory instead!
i’m just getting started on digi-scrapping, so if i won, i’m not really sure WHERE i’d use it – but i love the note cards, paper slips, etc., so it wouldn’t take me long to figure it out. in fact, it would probably be one of my “go to” kits.
thanks for a chance at winning!
I like Heather’s layout…no photo. I believe I’d use this kit to scrap procrastination…yep, it can be a problem sometimes.
Hmmm, there are lots of places to use dates…I like to include them on my layouts so I don’t forget the ‘when’ of an event, but I have not done that lately! A cool new kit would take care of that!
I would document the weight I lost after having four children. It enabled me to accidentaly get pregnant with #5. It was definately a big surprise after thinking I was done having children to get pregnant after again after 5 years!
THANKS so much! i can’t believe i won – i’m very excited! thanks again!
